DESCRIPTION:Coastline will be hosting five free check-up events in May\, including this one at 12:30 on May 21 at Tripp Towers in the city. Learn more about malnutrition and how to reduce your risk. Walk-ins are welcome. \nWhat is Malnutrition?\nMalnutrition is an imbalance between the nutrients your body needs to function and the nutrients it gets. It can mean undernutrition or overnutrition. One out of 2 older adults are at risk for malnutrition. \nWhy it Matters\nBeing malnourished can contribute to: \n\nWeakened immune system;\nPoor wound healing;\nIncreased risk of hospitalization;\nVitamin deficiencies;\nReduced GI function; and/or\,\nIncreased risk of death.\n\nThe first event will be held at 11 a.m.\, May 15th at the Rochester Senior Center. \nAdditional events will be held: \n\nRochester Senior Center – May 15th @ 11am\nFairhaven Senior Center – May 20th @ 12pm\nAcushnet Senior Center – May 29th @ 12pm\nDartmouth Senior Center – May 30th @ 1pm
