March for Meals 2026

Every weekday, Meals on Wheels drivers are out in the community delivering 1,600 meals a day to local older adults. But the number of seniors struggling to access nutritious food continues to grow and rising fuel and food costs mean funding simply can’t keep up.

Your support helps ensure we never have to say “no” to someone who needs healthy meals and a friendly check-in.

Sponsor Meals for a Day

This March, you can dedicate a full day of meals in honor of someone special, in memory of a loved one, or to show your business’s commitment to the community.

Each day in March will be sponsored by generous supporters like you. Sponsor weekdays for deliveries and weekends for the meal packs that support seniors when drivers are off.

Choose the level that feels right:

Nourish a Neighbor – $100

Your gift helps provide meals and connection for local seniors.

You’ll receive:

• A Facebook post dedicating that day’s meals in your honor or in memory of a loved one

• Your name and dedication listed on our March sponsorship calendar

• Recognition in an end-of-month thank-you message

Full Plate Sponsor – $250

Make an even bigger impact for older adults in our community.

Includes everything at the Nourish a Neighbor level, plus:

• Your business logo or a photo included with the Facebook dedication post

Community Champion – $500+

Help fuel our Meals on Wheels network across Greater New Bedford.

Includes all Full Plate benefits, plus:

• Your flyer or business information shared throughout our Meals on Wheels network in New Bedford and surrounding towns
