How is this surveyed used?
This data, which is confidential, will be gathered into an “Area Plan,” a document that helps Coastline focus on our community’s concerns in the years ahead. The data is also used by the state to help determine funding for services in the Commonwealth.
Who should take the survey?
If you did not receive a paper copy of this letter in the mail in October or November, you are welcome to fill out the survey online. This survey is intended for those who are age 60 or older. If you are caring for someone who is over the age of 60, we would love to hear about your needs as well. The survey is meant for those living in Coastline’s coverage area, which includes Acushnet, Dartmouth, Fairhaven, Gosnold, Mattapoisett, Marion, New Bedford and Rochester. This survey is being conducted by AAA organizations throughout the state of Massachusetts.
Why should I take the survey?
This is your opportunity to have your voice heard. This data helps fund programs that address the needs identified in the Needs Assessment Survey.
Is my information safe?
Yes, the survey is processed through the Executive Office of Elder Affairs’ online survey tool and a product of the State of Massachusetts. The Needs Assessment Survey does not ask for personal identifying information. The data collected is confidential.
Is this survey available in other languages?
Yes. Please contact zboyer@coastlinenb.org if you would like to receive a survey in any of the following languages: Arabic, Armenian, Cape Verdean Creole, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Haitian Creole, Hindi, Khmer, Luganda, Portuguese, Russian, and Vietnamese.
