Malnutrition Awareness Week

Malnutrition Awareness Week is a multi-organizational, multi-pronged campaign created by ASPEN (the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition). The goals of Malnutrition Awareness Week include:
- Educating healthcare professionals to identify and treat for malnutrition earlier
- Educating consumers/patients to discuss their nutrition status with healthcare professionals
- Increasing awareness of nutrition’s role on patient recovery
