The MassDOT Transit Division is pleased to announce that the next round of the Community Transit Grant Program for State Fiscal Year 2022 will open at the end of April. The Community Transit Grant Program is the consolidated competitive opportunity for Federal Transit Administration Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities funds and State Mobility Assistance Program funds.
The application is scheduled to open on Friday, April 30, 2021 and close at 5 p.m. on Friday, June 25, 2021, and will be submitted through the MassDOT Transit Division’s online grants management system, GrantsPlus+.
Prior to the application period, MassDOT will host two virtual trainings. These remote sessions will cover program eligibility and requirements, the online application process, and tips for completing an effective proposal.
The two online trainings are scheduled for:
- Tuesday, April 27 (10 a.m. to noon)
- Thursday, April 29 (10 a.m. to noon)
Attendance at one of the trainings is mandatory for all new applicants. Previous CTGP awardees are also welcome and encouraged to join. Please direct questions and your RSVP to Jennifer Henning at jennifer.n.henning@dot.state.ma.us.
