Coastline welcomed Nutrition Director Gerami Pacheco to the organization in late 2023. A native of the New Bedford/Dartmouth area, Gerami brings a strong background in both culinary and nutritional knowledge to the organization. He graduated from Johnson and Wales with three degrees in Baking & Pastry Arts, Culinary Arts, and Culinary Nutrition with a focus in Public Health & Dietetics.
After working at Boston Children’s Hospital, Gerami returned to the New Bedford area to work in long-term care in the region. He joined Coastline in December where he will lead the Meals on Wheels and nutrition team. Under his expertise, all facets of the meals program will be examined for new ways to meet the needs of the growing local consumers.
“I am very excited for my journey here and to make an impact on such a great community,” Gerami said about his Coastline role. “I truly enjoy giving back and helping those that build this community, our elderly.”
Gerami lives in New Bedford with his three dogs.
