Coastline is providing assistance to elders in Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester who need help with paying their heat or electric bills.
The funds will pay for gas, electric, propane, wood, or other heating needs to help reduce the financial burden for elders who have difficulty with these purchases.
Funding for this project was made possible by the George E. Curtis Charitable Trust.
Please contact the Council on Aging in Marion, Mattapoisett or Rochester to complete a simple application. Each elder may be able to receive help with a one-time payment for fuel assistance or an outstanding electric utility bill at $350 per individual.
