New Year, new you: As we enter the new year, we’re turning our focus to the future. 2020 ended with the beginning of the vaccine rollout – a process that will take months. With citizens around the nation stuck indoors, now could be an ideal time to update your résumé or strengthen your skill set.

Our cover stories this month explore options for mature workers as well as ways you can connect to the internet and learn technology.

We’ve also have updates from around the South Coast, including the Town of Dartmouth’s designation as an age-friendly community and the Rochester Council on Aging’s effort to deliver meals to citizens after a Nor’easter buried the town in snow.

Finally, for those who are feeling isolated during this time, the Samaritans are reminding the public about their service, KARE Calls, in which volunteers can check in weekly to see how you’re doing.
