It’s been a turbulent year, to say the least. But, in Senior Scope’s final issue of 2020, we have several positive feature stories to end the year on a high note.
We spoke with one New Bedford woman, who, after experiencing progressive hearing loss for about 15 years, pursued a service dog for hearing. She initially sought a service dog to ensure her safety at home. But the decision changed her life in ways small and large. Check out her story by clicking here.
We also spoke with Rhonda Fazio who used to offer cooking demonstrations at the New Bedford Farmers Market. Coastal Foodshed is bringing her class online, and we tagged along for a preview.
Finally, we’d like to wish Christine Bean a happy birthday! In November, she turned 100 and celebrated the occasion with a drive-by party. Ms. Bean is watercolorist who has participated in the South Coast Artists Open Studio Tours well into her 90s, where she would invite the public into her home studio to share her work. She still paints every Thursday.
