In this issue, students from Bristol Community College’s occupational therapy assistant program team up with Project Independence. The students designed therapeutic inventions for Project Independence participants and brought joy to the center after months living with pandemic restrictions.

Answering Common Questions About the COVID Vaccines

The New Bedford Health Department recently hosted a public meeting to address some of the common questions about the COVID-19 vaccines. The event was broadcast live by New Bedford Guide.

New Bedford has a lower vaccination rate than surrounding communities, and local health experts hope to reverse that trend by providing up-to-date information about the efficacy and safety of the three vaccines currently authorized for emergency use in America.
